Belvì is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 80 km north of Cagliari and about 40 km southwest of Nuoro. It is part of the traditional region Barbagia di Belvì. Belvì borders the following municipalities: Aritzo, Atzara, Desulo, Meana Sardo, Sorgono, Tonara. The City of Belvì is a small Sardinian village of about 670 inhabitants and 669 meters above sea level, from which it takes its name one of the three Barbagie: Barbagia of Belvì.
